Holy Trinity Church
Holy Trinity Church, Minchinhampton, Stroud GL6 9BW
Nestled in the same valley we live in, the village we are getting married in has been an important part of Lydia's family for generations. The church is also the final resting place of her beloved granny and grandpa, so it means a lot to both of us to be able to get married there.
The service will be a traditional Church of England ceremony, led by Rev'd Natalie Jennings.
Parking: There is plenty of street parking available around the church, but please be mindful of residents.
The Old Lodge
The Old Lodge, Minchinhampton Common, Stroud GL6 9AQ
Originally built as a hunting lodge in the 19th century, The Old Lodge is now an inn set in the heart of Minchinhampton Common in the Cotswolds.
The area around The Lodge is National Trust land, meaning we will be surrounded by beautiful countryside, free roaming cattle and wild horses. It is also in the middle of a golf course, but you can't have everything!
The reception will be hosted here, and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone in such a beautiful setting.
Travel: The Lodge is a 5 minute drive from the church. On the map it looks like a very easy walk, please trust us when we say it isn't! We would strongly recommend driving or taking a taxi.
Parking: There is plenty of parking around The Lodge and on the path leading up to it. Don't worry about the golfers, but please do be mindful of the cows!
